Technological advancements in AI, XR, and Web3 technologies are presenting museums and cultural heritage institutions with a fast-evolving web of opportunities. In some cases, the value of a new technology initiative can seem obvious, but each affects change in how an institution operates. Often these technologies unlock the most value when integrated with another, but with that can come additional complexity. Our invited guest speakers are prominent members of the European culture and heritage sector and will share their insights of practical applications of these technologies that museums can consider today, and a few applications that may soon become practical.
